В научном мире за журналом «Развитие личности» прочно закрепилась репутация серьезного, высокопрофессионального издания по проблемам развития, воспитания и бытия личности.

Журнал входит в перечень ведущих рецензируемых научных журналов, включенных Высшей аттестационной комиссией Министерства образования и науки Российской Федерации в список изданий, рекомендуемых для опубликования основных научных результатов диссертаций на соискание ученой степени доктора и кандидата наук; включен в систему Российского индекса научного цитирования (РИНЦ).

Изначальной позицией редакции журнала является понимание личности через диалектическое единство внешних условий и внутренних позиций человека, возникающих в процессе онтогенеза.

Идея основания и концепция журнала принадлежат академику РАО, доктору психологических наук, Валерии Сергеевне Мухиной (1993–2010 гг. – учредитель журнала; 1993–2024 гг. – главный редактор журнала).

Учредитель издания – федеральное государственное бюджетное образовательное учреждение высшего образования «Московский педагогический государственный университет».

Главный редактор журнала – Виктор Стефанович Басюк, доктор психологических наук, профессор, академик РАО. Вице-президент Российской академии образования. Заведующий кафедрой психологии развития личности имени академика РАО В.С. Мухиной Института педагогики и психологии Московского педагогического государственного университета.

Миссия журнала:

  • открытое обсуждение феноменологии развития и бытия личности в различных социальных, культурных и этнических условиях;
  • выявление феноменологических особенностей личности и их систематизация, обоснования теоретических и практических методов работы в условиях обыденной жизни и чрезвычайных ситуаций;
  • обогащение теоретической и практической базы отечественной и мировой психологии, философии и социологии.

Тематика журнала сформирована в соответствии с миссией и задачами журнала и на основании номенклатуры специальностей научных работников.

In the scientific community, the journal "Development of Personality" has established a strong reputation as a serious, highly professional publication on the problems of development, education, and existence of personality.

The journal is included in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals endorsed by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation as a publication recommended for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences; it is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) system.

The journal's editorial stance is fundamentally based on understanding personality through the dialectical unity of external conditions and the internal positions of an individual, arising in the process of ontogenesis.

The idea and concept of the journal belong to Academician of the Russian Academy of Education (RAE), Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Valeria Sergeevna Mukhina (1993–2010 – founder of the journal; 1993–2024 – editor-in-chief of the journal).

Founder of the publication – Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Moscow Pedagogical State University".

Editor-in-Chief of the journal – Viktor Stepanovich Basyuk, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the RAE. Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Education.
